Correctional Health Pharmacist Long-Term Contract

Soliant is hiring Pharmacists for a long-term contract in a correctional health pharmacy in Downtown Los Angeles! This is an open-ended assignment with a real path forward. Contract pharmacists on this program can apply to work directly for the County, where permanent roles come with a strong salary, great benefits, a pension, union representation, and room to move up.

The pharmacy runs 24/7 on 7.5-hour shifts, 37.5 hours/week. We’re looking for someone flexible who can cover days, evenings, and overnights.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions in a 24/7 outpatient-style pharmacy
• Perform clinical chart reviews and medication refill authorizations
• Support transition of care for patients
• Handle medical billing tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License required
• 2+ years of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience required
• Local to the Los Angeles area preferred
• Must be able to complete onboarding, including security clearance paperwork, a competency test, employee health screening, and Livescan fingerprinting

Experience:

• Transition of care, clinical chart review, refill authorization, and medical billing experience preferred

Work Hours:

• 7.5-hour shifts, 37.5 hours/week
• Days (6:00 AM–2:00 PM), evenings (2:00 PM–10:00 PM), and overnights (10:00 PM–6:00 AM)

Pay: $80+/hr, based on experience
