Pharmacist | Los Gatos, California

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with hospital experience to work in a 5 x 8-hour shifts per week schedule in Los Gatos, CA. The schedule includes variable day and afternoon shifts with some weekends required. This 13-week assignment is set to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacist duties including order verification and supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize Cerner information technology systems for medication management and documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability to cover the required schedule, including variable shifts and weekends
• Ability to work within allocated budget restrictions
