A 300+ bed hospital in the Boston area is seeking an inpatient pharmacist to support their pharmacy team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for newly licensed pharmacists or those looking to gain experience in a hospital setting. The position primarily covers the night shift, providing vital medication management and clinical support for inpatient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care for hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies
  • Monitor drug therapies for safety and efficacy
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in medication reviews and clinical rounds

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • Primarily night shifts, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
