Pharmacist | Lubbock, Texas

This opportunity seeks two skilled pharmacists to support pediatric inpatient care at a well-regarded hospital in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidates will bring solid clinical experience, technical proficiency, and a commitment to high-quality patient service in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions within an inpatient pediatric setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical therapies
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems to manage medication orders and inventory
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide education as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis dispensing technology
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality pharmaceutical care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
