Pharmacist in Lubbock, TX

A specialized opportunity is available for a pharmacist with pediatric experience to work in a children’s hospital setting. This contract role begins immediately and offers a unique schedule conducive to work-life balance, with a transition to a daytime shift later in the assignment.

Location: Lubbock, TX
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months, with possible shift transition

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Work 7 days on, 7 days off
• Anticipated transition to a day shift position in July/August

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services focused on inpatient pediatric care
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Support continuity of care through shift transition covering pharmacist on FMLA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Strong inpatient pharmacy background
• Pediatric pharmacy experience highly preferred
