Retail Pharmacist

RETAIL PHARMACIST

We’re seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a temporary maternity leave coverage assignment. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring accurate prescription verification and compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of recent pharmacy experience

• Clear and active TX Pharmacist License

• Knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage

• Ability to handle customer questions and conflicts professionally

• HIPAA and regulatory compliance experience

Schedule:

• Store hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Flexible shift options

• 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Reduced-hour schedules may be considered

Responsibilities:

• Perform final verification of prescriptions

• Respond to pharmacist related phone calls and messages

• Maintain quality assurance and controlled substance procedures

• Follow HIPAA and applicable pharmacy regulations

• Provide exceptional customer service
