Retail Pharmacist | PRN/Per Diem
We’re looking for a Retail Pharmacist to provide PRN coverage. This is a flexible opportunity for a pharmacist looking to pick up occasional shifts and maintain a great work/life balance located in Lufkin, Texas and only 15 minutes from the beautiful Angelina National Forest & Angelina Lake!

Assignment Details:

• PRN / Per Diem
• Store hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Flexible shift options: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Shorter shifts may also be accommodated if needed

What you’ll do:

• Verify prescriptions and ensure medications are dispensed accurately
• Counsel patients and answer medication-related questions
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage
• Follow HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
• Maintain quality assurance and controlled-substance procedures
• Answer pharmacist-related phone calls and prescription messages
• Help resolve customer questions and concerns

Extra Notes: 

• No vaccinations
• No MTM services needed

Requirements:

• 1+ year of recent Pharmacist experience
• Clear and active Texas Pharmacist License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
