A Pharmacist position is available for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility with an immediate start. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks or more, offering a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule. The role supports a small LTAC hospital managing a patient census of approximately 10 per day.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with hospital protocols and patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Monitor patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of pharmaceutical care
• Support pharmacy operations within a small patient census environment

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license required
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting patient care teams
