A retail pharmacist position is available in Madera, CA, offering a contract opportunity starting in the last week of August with a 13-week duration that may extend. The role involves managing a medium to high volume of prescriptions, requiring at least six months of retail pharmacy practice experience.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense prescriptions efficiently in a busy retail environment.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Utilize Rx30 software to process prescriptions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide patient counseling and medication guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in retail pharmacy practice.
• Proficient in managing medium to high prescription volumes.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software.
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred but not required, as pharmacy technicians speak Spanish.
