Pharmacist - Madera, California

A well-established community health center pharmacy in Madera, CA, is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide full-time coverage on a contract basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare setting supporting community needs.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
• Utilize the Rx30 system for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Provide knowledgeable counseling to patients regarding medication use and safety.
• Maintain precise records and assist in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure with recent retail or community pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software, preferably Rx30.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This contract position starts as soon as possible with an initial duration of four weeks and potential extension based on operational needs.
