Pharmacist - Madison Heights, VA

A Licensed Pharmacist is needed for a small Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility, caring for approximately 10 patients daily. This role offers a Monday to Friday day-shift schedule and an immediate start, with a contract duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and report any adverse drug reactions
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid VA Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and patient safety standards
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a small patient census
