Pharmacist in Madison Heights, VA

A Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their team starting ASAP. This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to contribute to a small hospital setting with a manageable patient census.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately for approximately 10 patients per day
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor drug therapies and provide clinical recommendations as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in medication management and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
