A federally qualified health center (FQHC) pharmacy is seeking a skilled PRN Pharmacist for a per diem assignment in Madison, IN, throughout June. This role offers an opportunity to support a 340B pharmacy operation, delivering quality pharmaceutical services in a community-focused environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • No weekends or holidays required
  • Specific dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery with high accuracy.
  • Oversee equipment and supply orders, ensuring operational readiness at all times.
  • Manage and control inventory, including regular expiry date verifications.
  • Apply best practice protocols in the storage and handling of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription details with healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
  • Provide telepharmacy support to enhance accessibility and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff needs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Attend to customer inquiries and address their requests or complaints promptly.
  • Maintain the retail pharmacy’s organization and appearance.
  • Utilize Liberty RX software to manage pharmacy operations effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verification required).
  • Immunization certification/license.
  • Submission of resume, skills checklist, and references.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
