A Per Diem pharmacist position is available for a federally qualified health center and 340B pharmacy. This opportunity provides medication preparation, inventory management, patient interaction, and telepharmacy support in a well-regulated environment that adheres to state and federal pharmacy guidelines.

Location: Madison, IN
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Lunch break daily from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
  • No holidays or weekends required
    Dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications and prescription orders for collection or delivery.
  • Oversee ordering of equipment and supplies while maintaining proper inventory control.
  • Apply best practice protocols to the storage of prescription and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription details with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records for drugs, controlled substances, patient information, and insurance claims.
  • Monitor display, shelving, and general pharmacy appearance to ensure an organized retail environment.
  • Provide telepharmacy support and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff and pharmacy operations.
  • Ensure pharmacy services comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active, verified Indiana Pharmacist license
  • Immunization license is required
  • Experience with Liberty RX software preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively; Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
  • Resume, skills checklist, and professional references
