Per Diem Pharmacist - Madison, Mississippi

A specialty retail pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS and 340B services requires per diem pharmacist coverage from August 20 through September 17. This role offers an opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment with a dedicated technician assisting daily operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising pharmacy technicians and overseeing their daily tasks
• Dispensing medications accurately and counseling patients on their prescriptions
• Managing specialty HIV/AIDS medications with attention to patient needs and adherence
• Utilizing Pioneer Rx software to process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies

Ideal candidates will have:

• A valid pharmacist license and relevant retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with HIV/AIDS specialty medications and related patient care needs
• Experience working with Pioneer Rx software preferred; please highlight any experience in your application
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff

Location: This position serves a retail specialty pharmacy in the Jackson, Mississippi area. Preference will be given to candidates local to the area due to the per diem nature of the assignment.
