A healthcare facility specializing as a 120-bed Level III trauma center is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Pharmacist to fill a travel position in Norfolk, NE. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with solid inpatient experience who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is ready to support critical patient care during the overnight hours.

Location: Norfolk, NE
Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)
• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Details:

• Immediate start
• Minimum 13-week commitment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Validate medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Perform kinetic dosing and medication checking prior to distribution
• Respond to clinical questions from nursing staff
• Supervise overnight compounding activities
• Manage outpatient prescription filling for Emergency Department patients
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems in daily workflows

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC preferred; training available if needed
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with overnight pharmacy technicians
