A hospital in Madison, WI is seeking three inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role offers a mix of day and evening shifts, working five 8-hour shifts per week with a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on acute care
  • Manage pharmacokinetic and renal dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, and pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions
  • Handle drug shortage management effectively
  • Use the EPIC electronic medical record system for medication orders and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
  • Strong skills in inpatient/acute care and pharmacotherapy
  • Ability to perform pharmacokinetic dosing and renal dosing
  • Experience with therapeutic medication monitoring and drug shortage management
  • Licensed pharmacist holding a Wisconsin ACT-10 license (ACT-10 license acceptance confirmed)
  • Must comply with facility requirements for fit testing; travelers need to shave for mask fit as CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided nor permitted on-site
  • Candidates living within 70 miles will not be considered; this opportunity is open to travelers only

Location:

  • Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts: Days (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) and Evenings (2:30 PM–11:00 PM)
  • Five 8-hour shifts weekly
  • Rotating every third weekend coverage

Additional Information:

  • Scrubs will be provided upon start
  • Non-billable hours: 12
  • Required application materials: updated resume with any gaps over 30 days noted, skills checklist, two pharmacy references, and copy of Wisconsin license
