Pharmacist in Madison, WI

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in a Long-Term Care (LTC) specialty setting located in Madison, WI. This contract role spans 13 weeks and offers a dynamic work schedule focused on maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients in an LTC environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medication order entry using QS1 software to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal pharmaceutical care
• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Providing clinical support and education to patients and staff as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin pharmacy license
• Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings
• Proficient with QS1 order entry system
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
