Inpatient Pharmacist

We’re seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a highly respected medical center in Madison, WI, on a full-time basis.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
• Shifts: Mix of days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Type: Full-Time | 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities: 

• Perform inpatient order verification
• Complete pharmacokinetic and renal dosing consultations
• Monitor therapeutic drug levels and pharmacotherapy regimens
• Assist with drug shortage management initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize patient care

Requirements

• Wisconsin Pharmacist license (ACT-10 temp license accepted)!
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient experience
• Strong clinical skills in acute care pharmacotherapy
