Long Term Care Specialty Pharmacist

Join a respected long-term care specialty pharmacy as a Pharmacist on a 13-week contract assignment. We're seeking a licensed Wisconsin pharmacist with retail or LTC experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment focused on delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Verify and accurately dispense prescription medications
• Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and clinical appropriateness
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide efficient patient care
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software for order entry and workflow management

Work Hours

• 13-week contract
• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Experience

• Retail pharmacy or long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience required
• Previous experience using QS1 pharmacy software required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy program
• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
