Per Diem Pharmacist - Manassas, VA

This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential coverage for vacation relief in a nursing home setting serving approximately 50 residents. The role is based in Manassas, VA, and involves supporting the pharmacy team with prescription verification and other critical functions.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Specific coverage dates include August 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth medication distribution
• Utilize Point Click Care system for documentation and processing
• Support medication management services tailored to meet the needs of nursing home residents

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license required
• Minimum of one year recent pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience working in nursing home or long-term care environments is beneficial
• Proficiency with Point Click Care or similar pharmacy computer systems
