A unique opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support healthcare services at a Tribal health facility in Alaska. This travel assignment offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy duties, providing a rewarding challenge in a distinctive setting.

Location:

• Manokotak, Alaska

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records for medication management
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and facility protocols
• Engage with patients to provide counseling and answer medication-related questions

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license (Alaska license not required due to Tribal facility status)
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for a travel assignment in a remote location
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
