Pharmacist | Marana, Arizona

Seeking two full-time night pharmacists for a 200-bed hospital located in Tucson, AZ. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, with potential to convert to temp-to-hire.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with physicians on drug selection and dosing
• Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications
• Leading medication safety initiatives
• Reviewing patient profiles and managing avoidance/reporting of adverse drug reactions
• Preparing IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and ensuring narcotic accountability

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday rotation)

Desired qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in Arizona
• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong skills in patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to manage medication safety and IV admixture preparation
