A full-time pharmacist position is available for night shifts at a 200-bed hospital setting in Tucson, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare teams in a dynamic environment focused on patient care and medication safety.

Location: Tucson, AZ
Schedule:

• Night shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medication use
• Lead medication safety initiatives
• Manage patient medication profiles, including avoiding and reporting adverse drug reactions
• Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
• Maintain narcotic accountability and compliance

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with valid credentials
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of medication safety protocols
