A 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ, seeks experienced pharmacists to provide critical medication management and support. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through collaboration with healthcare teams, patient care, and medication safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with physicians on drug selection, dosing, and therapy adjustments
• Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication use and safety
• Leading medication safety initiatives and monitoring patient profiles for adverse drug reactions
• Preparing IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and maintaining narcotic accountability
• Ensuring compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current valid pharmacist license
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy settings with knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to handle responsibilities such as IV preparation and medication safety monitoring
• Comfort working day, afternoon, or night shifts; candidates able to work 7 days on/7 days off nights are highly valued

Schedule:

• Flexible day or afternoon shifts available
• Night shift coverage needed as well, with preference for 7-on/7-off night rotation
