This role demands a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, effectively working alongside physicians and healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians on medication selection and precise dosing
  • Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medication use and safety
  • Lead medication safety initiatives to enhance patient care quality
  • Monitor patient profiles to avoid adverse drug reactions and promptly report any incidents
  • Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements with accuracy
  • Maintain strict narcotic accountability in compliance with regulations

Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Proficient in clinical pharmacy practices and medication management
  • Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to handle sterile compounding and narcotic control

Location:

  • Marana, Arizona (Hospital facility in Tucson area)

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available, including days, afternoons, and nights
  • Preference for candidates available for 7-on/7-off night shifts
