A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract position in a high-volume central fill environment located in Marietta, GA, with onsite responsibilities in Lawrenceville. This role requires an experienced professional who can manage a significant backlog and verify prescriptions efficiently throughout most of the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Verify daily prescription volumes in a fast-paced central fill setting.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform final verification of prescriptions, maintaining stringent quality control.
• Adapt quickly to a high-volume workload, ensuring backlog reduction.
• Complete an onsite, two-hour interview with the pharmacy team in Lawrenceville prior to engagement.
• Participate in a minimum of 15 hours of training alongside current pharmacists between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm before transitioning to the full schedule.
• Maintain consistent, reliable onsite presence in Lawrenceville throughout the contract duration (~two months).

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license (required).
• Maryland license is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated experience working in high-volume pharmacy environments with minimal employment gaps; any gap over 2-3 months should be clearly explained.
• Ability to manage heavy prescription verification load efficiently and accurately.
• Experience working closely with multiple pharmacists and technicians.
• Comfortable working full-time shifts, with flexibility across a 24/7 window.
