Pharmacist - Marietta, Georgia

This pharmacist opportunity offers a focused role supporting inpatient care during a consistent night shift schedule. The position is based in Marietta, GA, and begins immediately with a contract duration of 13 weeks or longer. The schedule follows a 7 on/7 off pattern, working nights from 9 pm to 7 am.

Key responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, applying pharmacokinetic principles, and consulting directly with nurses and physicians. This role requires working as the sole pharmacist overnight alongside technicians, emphasizing the need for strong independent clinical judgment and solid hospital experience.

Ideal candidates will hold a current Georgia pharmacist license and have at least one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis systems is preferred to efficiently manage pharmacy workflow and coordinate patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Georgia pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
• Ability to work independently as the sole overnight pharmacist
• Strong clinical knowledge in hospital pharmacy operations and pharmacokinetics
• Effective communication skills for consultation with healthcare teams
