Pharmacist - Marion, OH

An established health system in North/Central Ohio is seeking a skilled inpatient Pharmacist for a 26-week contract opportunity. This role supports two hospital locations situated between Cleveland and Columbus, offering the chance to contribute to patient care in a dynamic inpatient setting.

Location:

• Marion, OH area (serving either Galion or Ontario hospitals)

Schedule:

• Flexible shift start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Every 4th weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on patient safety and medication accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee clean room operations to ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for medication order verification and documentation

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Ohio Pharmacist license in hand
• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy practice
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams
• Confidence, responsibility, kindness, and a collaborative mindset in delivering patient care

Hospital Environment:

• Galion facility: 25 beds
• Ontario facility: 40 beds
