This opportunity offers a vital leadership role within an Opioid Treatment Center as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC). Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, maintaining overall accountability for pharmacy operations.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews and keep accurate documentation.
• Verify and dispense prescriptions, stepping in to fill prescriptions if technician support is unavailable.
• Complete internal reporting and data entry utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Function independently, especially during times when technician assistance is limited.
• Minimal patient interaction unless specifically requested.
• Handle no billing or insurance-related tasks.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing with no adverse history.
• 3 to 5 years of professional pharmacy experience.
• Experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes.

Schedule and Location:

• Part-time position, 20 hours per week.
• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana.
