This opportunity seeks a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations at an Opioid Treatment Center. The position is part-time with a one-year contract, offering potential for extension or permanent hire. The role is based in Alexandria, Louisiana and requires a commitment of 20 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, managing daily pharmacy activities and ensuring smooth operations.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews and maintain precise documentation.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
• Fill prescriptions when pharmacy technicians are not available.
• Complete internal reporting and documentation utilizing Microsoft Excel.

• Operate independently during times without technician support.
• Limited direct patient interaction unless specifically requested.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history.
