Pharmacist - Marshall, MI

A healthcare facility is seeking a Staff Pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience to support weekend and occasional weekday shifts. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Michigan and proficient with Cerner Med Manager and Pyxis automation systems.

Location: Marshall, MI
Job Type: Contract – 13 weeks
Shift:

• Saturdays/Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Some weekdays as needed, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacy order entry and verification using Cerner Med Manager
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory through Pyxis automation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery
• Maintain compliance with inpatient hospital protocols and safety standards
• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in an inpatient setting

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Pharmacist license required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Hands-on experience with Cerner Med Manager and Pyxis systems
• Ability to work weekend shifts and flexible weekday hours
• Local candidates preferred; travel/housing arrangements will be considered
