Pharmacist - Marshfield, Wisconsin

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 250-bed hospital in Marshfield, WI. This contract role offers a dynamic schedule and the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a well-established healthcare setting. The position is ideal for candidates with hospital pharmacy experience who are licensed in Wisconsin or willing to obtain an Act 10 temporary license.

Location:

• Marshfield, WI

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Rotating shifts between 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Workweeks typically begin on Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient drug therapies
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for pharmacy operations and medication management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide patient counseling and education as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current WI Pharmacist license or willingness to acquire Act 10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Proficient with pharmacy technology, including Cerner and Omnicell systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential extension
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred
