Pharmacist in Marshfield, WI

A 13-week+ contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Marshfield, WI, at a 250-bed hospital facility. This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with a focus on hospital pharmacy practice. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to obtain an Act 10 temporary license to practice as a pharmacist in Wisconsin and possess hospital pharmacy experience.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Rotating shifts between 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Work weeks typically start on Wednesday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispensing and verifying medications in a hospital setting using Cerner and Omnicell systems
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management
• Performing clinical pharmacy duties including medication review and recommendations
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to secure an Act 10 temporary license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell technology systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
