Pharmacist - Mashpee, Massachusetts

A community hospital located on Cape Cod is seeking a qualified pharmacist to cover the night shift. This 200-bed facility, approximately 70 miles south of Boston, requires a professional who can handle the fast-paced demands of a hospital pharmacy and provide excellent patient care during overnight hours.

Location:

• Mashpee, MA (Cape Cod area)

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Provide consultation to physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and electronic documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication verification and pharmacokinetics
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and effectively communicate with clinical teams
