Pharmacist - Mashpee, MA

A 200-bed community hospital located about 70 miles south of Boston is seeking a Night Shift Pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations on Cape Cod. This contract opportunity offers a structured 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing an excellent work-life balance for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and dosing adjustments
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmacy consultation
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to navigate clinical settings effectively
• Strong communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to manage workload independently during overnight shifts
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly desirable
