A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services at a 100-bed community hospital on the KY/OH border. This role requires an immediate start, ideally within 7 to 10 days from offer acceptance.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders efficiently and accurately
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and monitoring
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in Kentucky
- Ability to begin work promptly within the specified rapid response window
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Experience in hospital pharmacy settings preferred
