Pharmacist in Mc Arthur, OH

This opportunity is seeking a Temporary Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a community hospital setting. The role requires coverage starting by September 8th, no later than the 14th, with a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus on-call duties after some shifts and occasional Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location:
Position based near Mc Arthur, OH, at a community hospital with 25 licensed beds and an average daily census of 25-30 patients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist licensure is required.
• Experience with EPIC order entry system highly preferred.
• Previous work in emergency department, infusion, or orthopedic specialties is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of medication management in a hospital environment without automation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely based on prescriptions and protocols.
• Provide on-call support as scheduled to ensure medication availability and resolve pharmacy inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff in ED, infusion, and orthopedic units to optimize patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
