Pharmacist in Mechanicsville, VA

This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacists for two night shifts at a leading 460-bed Level I trauma center. The role offers a dynamic environment where you will provide critical pharmaceutical services to support acute patient care. Working on a week-on, week-off schedule (7 days on, 7 days off) from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, you will be an essential part of the healthcare team ensuring optimal medication management.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy, and performing pharmacokinetic evaluations. You will utilize advanced systems such as Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis to enhance clinical workflow and patient safety.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia (VA license)
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to oversee medication therapies in a trauma center setting
• Experience with pharmacy informatics systems including Meditech Magic and Dose Edge
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours
