A temporary pharmacist opportunity is available in Southeastern Iowa, offering a chance to contribute to a well-established 200-bed facility. This 13-week contract position allows for immediate start and welcomes candidates with temporary licenses.

Location: West Burlington, IA

Schedule:

• Primarily 2nd shift
• 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmacological guidance
• Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize patient medication therapy

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist (temporary license acceptable)
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
