Pharmacist | Mendocino, California

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience who is ready to take on a fulfilling role in a dynamic healthcare setting. Serving a vibrant community, the position offers a 26-week assignment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.

Location:

• Mendocino, CA (Ft Bragg area)

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Full-time availability required
• Start ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell; involvement in the ongoing conversion to EPIC
• Participation in chemotherapy medication preparation and handling is a plus

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology platforms in pharmacy practice
