A direct hire pharmacist opportunity is available in the Eau Claire, WI area, delivering specialized services in a closed-door long-term care pharmacy setting. This role offers exposure to a growing pharmacy network with 21 locations across western Wisconsin, providing significant growth opportunities.

Location: Eau Claire, WI
Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • 40 hours/week
  • On-call rotation

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV1 and PV2 pharmacist duties including medication verification and clinical interventions
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians
  • Utilize a cleanroom environment for the preparation of IVs and TPNs
  • Provide medication therapy management, especially vital for retail pharmacists transitioning to long-term care

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Wisconsin pharmacist license required; temporary ACT-10 license accepted with obligation to obtain full WI license within 90 days of hire
  • Prior long-term care pharmacy experience highly preferred
  • Retail pharmacists with strong MTM skills considered and must demonstrate ability to quickly adapt to PV1 responsibilities
  • Familiarity with the Frameworks pharmacy system is a plus
