An established long-term care pharmacy with multiple locations in Western Wisconsin is seeking a Direct Hire pharmacist to join their team in Eau Claire. Candidates with Wisconsin pharmacy licensure or those eligible to work under a temporary ACT-10 license (with full licensure required within 90 days) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV1 and PV2 duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Prepare sterile products, including IVs and TPNs, within an on-site cleanroom environment
  • Engage in patient medication therapy management to optimize therapeutic outcomes
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous pharmaceutical care

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or temporary ACT-10 license with ability to obtain full license within 90 days
  • Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacists with strong medication therapy management (MTM) skills considered
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software frameworks, with willingness to adapt to new systems
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to oversee technician workflow

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (40 hours/week)
  • On-call rotation participation

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate in the range of $70-$72
  • Relocation assistance of $5,000
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus ($5,000 upon signing and $5,000 after six months)
