Pharmacist | Meriden, Kansas

Support a large, closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy servicing numerous nursing homes by providing expert pharmacy services on Thursdays and Fridays. This contract position involves working with a well-established pharmacy that processes 800-1000 prescriptions daily, supported by a dynamic team of over 50 employees.

Location: Meriden, KS (with facility based in Topeka, KS)

Schedule:

• Thursdays and Fridays
• Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to maintain high standards in medication dispensing
• Perform cycle checking to ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription handling
• Verify prescriptions and maintain accuracy throughout the dispensing process
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support smooth operational workflow

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist License with a clean record and no negative history
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience; long-term care experience preferred, but newer graduates and retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the ongoing schedule
