A well-established, closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy serving nursing homes in Topeka, KS is seeking one Staff Pharmacist to join their dedicated team. This pharmacy processes between 800-1000 prescriptions daily and supports a robust staff of over 50 employees, providing a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Schedule and Location:
- Thursdays and Fridays
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Meriden, KS
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct cycle checking to maintain medication integrity
- Verify prescriptions and oversee dispensing processes
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Pharmacist License required
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience preferred; LTC experience a plus, but new graduates and retail pharmacy backgrounds will be considered
- Ability to start immediately is essential
