Support a pharmacy team serving a vibrant, local community in Mesa, AZ, operating within a food and pharmacy retail environment. This per diem opportunity offers flexible, part-time hours primarily Monday through Saturday, typically from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some shifts extending to 8 p.m. You will be part of a dedicated group of 2-3 pharmacists, providing coverage for call outs, vacations, and volume spikes across several pharmacy locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide excellent patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Complete required training on the QS1 pharmacy system and adapt to both technician-supported and pharmacist-only stores.
- Maintain immunization privileges and readiness to provide immunization services.
- Flexibly cover shifts as needed within the Mesa area to support pharmacy operations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience, with preference for candidates having 2 or more years’ recent experience.
- Active, unrestricted Arizona pharmacist license.
- Current BLS certification and immunization privileges.
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy management system is highly desirable.
- Ability to commit to 2-4 days per week in a per diem capacity.

- Mesa, AZ, with most pharmacy locations within commutable distance in the greater Phoenix area.
