Seeking qualified pharmacists for per diem opportunities supporting a well-established food and pharmacy operation with multiple locations in the greater Phoenix area. This role offers flexibility and the chance to join a dedicated team responding to call-outs, vacation coverage, and spikes in prescription volume.

Location: Mesa, AZ, with pharmacies throughout the Phoenix metro area.

Schedule:

  • Pharmacy operational hours: Monday through Saturday, typically 10 AM to 7 PM; some locations may close at 8 PM.
  • Per diem shifts with no guaranteed hours; ideal candidates are available 2-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacist services in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Manage an average prescription volume of 100 to 125 per day.
  • Collaborate with a strong technician support team.
  • Maintain immunization privileges and BLS certification.
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy systems.
  • Participate in an initial 8-hour training shift (additional training available as needed).

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ retail pharmacy experience; preference for candidates with 5+ years for premium compensation.
  • Active Arizona pharmacy license without restrictions.
  • Immunization privilege and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Familiarity with QS1 is a plus.
