Per Diem Pharmacist - Mesa, AZ

A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available to support long-term care pharmacy operations. This role involves accurately filling prescriptions and processing medication orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• 4 or 5 hours per day
• Flexible start time between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill 50-100 prescriptions daily
• Process and verify medication orders efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients regarding prescriptions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings
• Ability to manage high prescription volume with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills

This contract offers the opportunity to work flexible hours while contributing to quality pharmaceutical care in a long-term care environment. Candidates must be prepared to begin assignments starting March 7th or 8th.
