Seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a Per Diem role in Mesa, AZ, supporting a retail pharmacy environment. This position offers a consistent schedule with 5 days of coverage and training, allowing for professional growth in a supportive setting.

Schedule:

• 5 days of coverage plus training
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM shifts

Location:

• Mesa, Arizona

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to providers’ orders, ensuring patient safety by verifying allergies and contraindications
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, following established policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive patient interactions
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of medication dispensing and patient care
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system preferred
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of accuracy and customer service

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, with a manageable script volume of under 100 prescriptions daily.
