Provide reliable pharmacy support as a Per Diem Pharmacist in Mesa, AZ. This role is essential to maintaining seamless pharmacy operations during call outs, vacations, or volume spikes. The position offers flexibility, ideal for pharmacists seeking 2-4 shifts per week in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Cover pharmacy shifts Monday through Saturday, typically between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m.
• Support pharmacies with average daily prescription volumes ranging from 100 to 125.
• Work independently in smaller pharmacist-only sites or alongside pharmacy technicians in larger locations.
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy system for daily operations.
• Complete an initial 8-hour training shift, with additional training opportunities offered as needed.
• Administer immunizations and maintain up-to-date BLS certification.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience, preferably with exposure to varying pharmacy environments.
• Immunization privilege required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to train and adapt quickly to different pharmacy settings.
• Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed to support the pharmacy team.
