Pharmacist in Mesa, AZ

A licensed Pharmacist is needed to support a compounding laboratory in Mesa, AZ. This full-time, contract-to-hire position offers an opportunity for hands-on experience in a compounding environment with training provided in non-sterile compounding. Candidates will work primarily as closers on a set shift with potential for conversion to a permanent role that includes benefits, 401k, and paid time off.

Schedule • Full Time, 40 hours per week • Closers: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (set shift) • Shift schedules aligned with business needs

Location • Mesa, Arizona (specific address provided upon placement)

Key Responsibilities • Supervise and lead pharmacy technicians in daily activities • Verify prescriptions and oversee the compounding process to ensure accuracy • Maintain strict compliance with USP standards and Board of Pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Experience • Active Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing, without disciplinary history • Solid background in pharmacy practice • Flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if required
