Pharmacist - Mescalero, New Mexico

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• No weekends; pharmacy is closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff; develop performance goals and manage staffing levels
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, federal, and local regulations regarding controlled substances and medication safety
• Provide medication counseling, manage prescriptions, and perform comprehensive medication reviews
• Foster team development through education, orientation, and precepting new staff
• Maintain accurate records for licensing, training, payroll, and quality assurance
• Support pharmacy operations by managing inventory, overseeing medication storage, and documenting medication errors
• Promote professional growth and contribute to operational decision-making

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required
• Current New Mexico pharmacy license
• 1-3 years of experience as a registered pharmacist, with 1-2 years in management preferred
• Retail 340B experience is a plus
• APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification required
