A dynamic opportunity is available for two licensed pharmacists interested in a travel assignment based in Las Cruces, NM. This 13-week contract position offers the chance to contribute your expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment using Meditech IT systems.

Work Schedule:

• Position 1: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• Position 2: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper use and potential side effects
• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure safety and compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech software to maintain precise medication records and manage inventory
• Monitor drug therapies and offer clinical support as required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license with the ability to practice in New Mexico
• Proven experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
