Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist

Join a respected hospital team as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist supporting the CV ICU and Medical ICU. This 13-week contract is a great opportunity for pharmacists with Level I Trauma experience who are passionate about providing clinical pharmacy services in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy support for the CV ICU and Medical ICU
• Review and verify medication orders
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
• Make medication therapy recommendations to improve patient care
• Ensure safe and effective medication use
• Document clinical interventions in EPIC

Work Hours

• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Start date: ASAP

Experience

• At least 1 year of recent Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist experience
• Prior Level I Trauma hospital experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Experience with EPIC required

Education

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree
• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license required

Other Qualifications

• PGY2 residency preferred, but not required
• Board Certification preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a critical care environment
