A growing compounding pharmacy affiliate in Doral, FL, is seeking an experienced PRN Pharmacist to provide critical support during the upcoming launch of sterile compounding services. This per diem opportunity offers a dynamic role within a specialized pharmacy focused on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, and primarily female hormone medications, with plans to expand into testosterone in the future.

Location: Doral, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP, coverage needed starting 9/23 with additional shifts available in October
Job Type: Per diem

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Support daily operational workflows during the sterile compounding launch
  • Review and maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations
  • Provide pharmacist coverage as needed during business hours

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License required
  • Experience with pharmacy start-ups is highly desirable but not mandatory
  • Compounding background (sterile or non-sterile) preferred; retail experience accepted
  • Willingness to train on compounding if needed

This position offers the chance to work in a small, focused site with approximately five on-site employees, complemented by remote operational and clinical support. The pharmacy has operated non-sterile compounding for over a year and is on the cusp of launching sterile compounding services, making this an exciting time to contribute to expansion efforts.
