Pharmacist - Miami, Florida

A children’s hospital located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale is seeking two inpatient pharmacists to cover important shifts in a busy pediatric setting. This 13-week contract assignment offers an opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a specialized pediatric environment, working closely with a dedicated healthcare team.

Schedule:

• One position: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week)
• One position: Overnight shift 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services focused on pediatric and NICU patients
• Perform accurate pediatric dosing and medication preparation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication management
• Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient records
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital pharmacy standards

Qualifications:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven experience in pediatric pharmacy and NICU preferred; resumes should clearly reflect this background
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy practices and pediatric dosing protocols
