Pharmacist - Milan, NH

A hospital-based inpatient pharmacist position is available to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a critical access setting. This role supports multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• Shift times: 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and dispense medications within the hospital pharmacy, especially during weekend shifts
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and effective medication therapy
• Support departments such as ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency with pharmaceutical expertise
• Utilize Meditech software for medication management; familiarity with Omnicell systems is a plus

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a hospital pharmacist is required
• Prior experience in a critical access hospital setting is highly preferred
• Proven ability to work autonomously, with particular focus on weekend coverage
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy and inpatient pharmacy operations
